Conditions
  1. This event is run under the National Chainsaw Club Rules.  All competitors will be issued with a standard set of rules and regulations applicable to Chain Saw Racing events
  2. Competitors that operate a chainsaw must have a Statement of Attainment in Chainsaw Operations issued from a Registered Training Organisation
  3. Full Personal Protective Equipment must be worn during all chainsaw events listed
  4. Chainsaws must be visually standard as per manufacturer's specifications and in a safe operating condition
  5. The chainsaw must have a chain brake fitted
  6. All axes and sledge hammers must have their heads pinned
  7. Modified Production Saws only
  8. Due to our insurance under the Esk Show Society, we are required to run standard fuels only.  In failing this our Show Society is liable and will not be covered and you will be disqualified

The Andy Daniells Memorial Ironman Event

This event will be held under lights after the fireworks

This is a single person event being held at the 2018 Esk Show

The entrants must be in possession of a Statement of Attainment in Chainsaw Operations with a registered training organisation

Full Personal Protective Equipment must be worn when operating a chainsaw.  Axes and sledge hammers must have their heads pinned and will be checked before the event.  Chainsaws must be visibly standard and per manufacturer's specifications.  Chainsaw must be fitted with a chain brake.  Rules and the required tasks for this event will be advised in advanced by contacting the Chief Steward.
